Piligrim tour for protestants + rest on the Dead Sea

Day 1.

Arrival to Ben Gurion.
Overnight at hotel in Tiberias.

Day 2.

Caesarea. (Acts 12, 23) Here we will remember the episodes from the New Testament history and recall the ministry of Peter and Paul.
Then we will continue to Mount Carmel where we will talk about the ministry of the Prophet Elijah.(1 Kings 18)
We will start our day with the visit to the Mt of Beatitudes to recall the sermon on the mount (Mt 5,6,7). Then we will follow Jesus in his ministry in Galilee. We will visit the excavations of the city of Korazin (Mt 11: 21) and talk about the Pharisaic movement of that period. After that we will pay a visit to Capernaum, the headquarters of Jesus` ministry. We will continue to the eastern shoe of the Sea of Galilee and check the Decapolis area, the place of the healing of the daemon possessed man from Gerrasa. (Mark 5)
After lunch we will take a boat ride from the eastern shore back to the Western shore and visit the place where Jesus fed 5 thousand people and where the Lord reconciled with Peter (John 21).
We will visit the ancient boat from Jesus`s time by the end of the day.
Overnight at the Sea of Galilee.

Day 3.

This day we will visit the ancient capital of Galilee Zippori. Then we will drive to Nazareth and pay a visit to Nazareth Village, to see what the lifestyle of the people of Nazareth in the time of Jesus was.
After that we will go to the excavations of the ancient city Megiddo where we can talk about the Armageddon (Rev 16:16).
At the end of the day we will drive to Bat Yam for the concert which will start at 19:00.
Free time to stroll at Bat Yam Promenade for snack and rest.
Overnight at the Sea of Galilee.

Day 4.

On this day we are leaving Galilee. We will have a chance to do the Baptist ceremony in the Jordan River and then visit the prominent roman city of Beith Shean (Scytopolis) which is mentioned in the Old Testament (1 Sam 31) and served a background for the Prodigal son’s story. (Luke 15). We will drive by the Jordan River valley through Manasseh and Ephraim territory till we come to Judah. We will try to get into the city of Jericho. And visit the model of the Tabernacle in the wilderness.
Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 5.

We will start our day with the visit to the Mt of Olives, where we can talk about the relationship that Jesus had with the city of Jerusalem. We will talk about the triumphant entry of Jesus in to the city on Palm Sunday, His agony and betrayal (Lk 22) at the Garden of Gethimany.
We will dedicate our afternoon to the visit of the city of Bethlehem. We will finish our tour at the Garden Tomb, the Calvary of Jesus.
Kabalat Shabbat and teaching time in the evening.

Day 6.

That will be our free day when we can visit the Church service and rest.

Overnight at Jerusalem.

Day 7.

Today we will visit the Temple Mont and talk about its past and present significance. Then we will come to see the pools of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the paralytic (John 5). Then we will follow Jesus on his way of the Cross. We will visit the Jewish quarter with the Western wall, and the excavations at the southern wall where we can talk about the Pentecost.
Evening tour to the Old City to visit the Western Wall Tunnel.
Overnight in Jerusalem

Day 8.

Today we will spend our time in the Wilderness. We will start with the ruins of the city of Arad (Num 21), where we can talk about the Exodus experience. After that we can visit the famous fortress of Massada where Herod build his fortress. Then we will be able to hike Ein Gedi where David was hiding from king Saul. (1 Sam 24). We will also visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found and talk about the Essins.
Teaching time in the evening.
Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 9.

That day we will visit the Holocaust memorial and talk about the significance of the Holocaust to the Church. Then we will drive to the ruins of Beit Guvrin, where king Herod was born to learn about the second Jewish revolt. Afternoon we will spend at Neot Kidumim Biblical Gardens, where we will be able to connect the Nature and the Scriptures.

Day 10.

That Day we will have teaching time in the morning at 10 am after breakfast. Check out 11:30 am.
